We can deliver to anywhere in mainland England, Scotland and Wales.

For customers in our local delivery area (i.e. most parts of South Yorkshire, plus the Chesterfield area) we will deliver direct to your door ourselves. For customers who are outside of our local delivery area, we will send your order via our appointed national courier. 

For all deliveries, we aim to have your purchases with you within 4 working days of your order being placed.    



We have our own delivery van and will deliver straight to your door from our premises in Sheffield. This has the advantage of incurring fewer road miles and using less packaging than buying from a non-local supplier. So, by buying locally, from us, you’re helping your garden birds and the environment they live in.

To qualify for free local delivery, we only need a minimum spend of £20. This helps us to keep the delivery service free to customers in the future. Orders of less than £20 will have our flat-rate delivery charge of just £3.95 added.

Receiving your delivery:

When you place your order, we will ask you for the safest place to leave your purchases, in case you’re not in when we call round. Many of our regular customers have a safe, weatherproof place they ask us to leave their orders, such as their garden shed or greenhouse, for example. Please remember that some products eg bird tables, are quite bulky so your ‘safe’ location needs to be suitable for leaving these types of goods.

Please note, if for some reason we can’t gain access to your stated safe place, as a last resort we will bring your order back to our premises, to keep it safe. However, we reserve the right to charge our standard delivery fee of £3.95 to re-deliver it. 

In order to reduce our environmental impact, we try not use any unnecessary additional packaging, so your ordered products will either be unpackaged, or in their original, individual packaging where applicable. If your stated 'safe place' is open to the elements, we may place your delivery inside a black bin liner if appropriate (which can then be re-used).    

Please note we can’t accept any responsibility for your goods, once they’ve been delivered.



For customers outside of our local delivery area, we use a well-established national courier. 

Delivery should be within 4 working days of your order being placed with us.

* Please note, as our courier costs are based on package weight and size, for products which are particularly bulky but relatively lightweight, delivery charges may be calculated using a higher weight banding. 

** Orders over 99.9kg will need an additional order placing to cover the extra amount. 

We deliver to the GB mainland only (meaning that unfortunately we don’t cover the Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles, Lundy Island, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland).

The following postcode areas will incur an additional charge of £13 per order, to help cover our extra courier charges to deliver to these locations: KW1-14, IV1-63, AB10-56, DD1-11, PH1-50 & PA1-19 (all are in Scotland). 

Once our courier has collected your order from us, it will be taken to their local depot. On the day of delivery you should receive an e-mail from them to confirm the expected delivery time, within a two hour window, plus a unique code so you can track your order on-line.

If you’re not in (and our courier cannot get access to your designated ‘safe place’), they will leave you a card with their contact details on and take your order back to their local depot. Once you have contacted them, to re-arrange a suitable delivery day, they will attempt one further delivery, free of charge. If this fails, they will keep the order at their local depot and notify us. 

We will then contact yourselves to discuss whether you wish us to try delivery again (you will be charged the appropriate delivery fee again), or whether we should cancel your original order.


When I've got to the delivery section in 'Checkout', a message has popped up saying my order can't be processed. Why is this?

There are a few possible reasons for this:

1)  You've exceeded the single order weight limit of 99.9kg (in which case, you just need to place an additional, seperate order so that no one order weighs more than 99.9kg in total).

2)  Your delivery address is outside of our local delivery area and part, or all, of your order is for products which we are unable to deliver by courier (such as our larger bird tables). This will have been stated in the product description (but we appreciate sometimes this doesn't always get spotted). To remove such items from your order, please go to your Basket (the red icon with the white basket) and select the orange 'View Cart' button. You can amend your order here.

3)  Your delivery address is not on the GB mainland
